This is an amazing place to come relax, enjoy the sunset, and take photos of the beautiful sights. Sunset cliffs is well known for its jagged edge cliffs and some are known to be able to dive into the ocean from. I really enjoyed doing video of the cave with my drone here. This is a great place to visit if you're out of town. Also a good place to romance a special one. Enjoy

Get there a little early to find a parking spot. Then a short walk down the stairs and along the beach to find the perfect spot for you to post up and watch the sun go down. Please don't litter and take care of the beaches.

The parking lot is closed. A re-vegetation project is keeping much of the area off limits. Folks are still jumping barriers to sit on the cliffs. We didn't go down to the beach (there are stairs at the North end). I couldn't tell where people would hike to get to the surf; we saw 2 people in wetsuits. The rest were walking dogs (one lady in a thong bikini for some reason) or just out for a stroll.

Great, improved, stable stairs to descend the depths to the actual Beach. Lots of rocky tide pools to explore. Surfers frequent this Beach so a good place to sit and watch. Not a lot of sand close by, might be if you head up or down the beach, didn't go looking for same since tide pool exploration was on the agenda and this Beach didn't disappoint. Parking at the head of the stairs was limited, but there is a upper lot that is close by.

Lovely path along the Pacific coast to stroll along. Took staircase down to ocean level - that was a surprise/bonus. Sunrises & sunsets must be absolutely beautiful from here - hope to get to go back so I can enjoy one. At the right time of year you can spot whales & dolphins so be sure to bring along binoculars.
